Adjust TX volume in software config file

I was testing this software and I was wondering if it was possible to throttle down the audio level output from the configuration file, directly at the source instead of lowering the soundcard audio level.
Piping the output via a virtual cable to a scope, I see it is 0 dB.
Am I missing something?
