A channel has traffic on 2 or more baud rates, e.g. MODEM 1200 and MODEM 9600 baud. We currently can configure CHANNEL using the same audio i/o (with Pulseaudio) and decode the traffic, but the configuration parser will not allow us to reuse the GPIO pin in two or more CHANNEL/PTT or CHANNEL/DCD descriptions.
I believe this used to be possible, but recent versions of Direwolf prevent it.
