Cannot find the direwolf.conf file in my home directory #598

Description

@nobugshere

My prior build from the dev branch, as of August 10, has been working fine. I just updated to 1.8 beta 1, and now direwolf cannot find the config file in my home directory. It can find one in CWD and the -c option also works. Checking-out from different points, it seems to have stopped working with commit #ebe3cf2, though I don't see why.

This is on an M1 Mac running macOS 15.6.1 and Xcode 16.4
